Invincible

Invincible

“Invincible” is a new Amazon Original show streaming on Amazon for Prime members. The show possesses a lot of depth that sets itself apart from most and you can tell a lot of time was put into the story and animation. While it is an animated show and oftentimes that’s a red flag for some people, I highly recommend the watch. Besides the writing, the animation is the show’s strongest aspect. So much time
and effort was put into it and it shows in every episode. Each episode leaves you needing to watch the next and with weekly installments, the week can’t go by any slower. Invincible is a retelling of the famous comic series, also known as Invincible. We follow Mark Grayson, “Invincible”, and his “coming of age” story as a hero. His father Nolan Grayson, otherwise known as “Omni-Man”, is a well known superhero and a protector of Earth. The show takes a unique turn at the end of the first episode which is what had me hooked. Each and every character is unique and I found none of them to be boring or stale. They’re all so well-rounded and interesting in their own respect and they are very well written. Despite this, I find that Omni-Man is the most interesting character and I can’t wait to see where they go with his story. Today, we see superhero movies and TV shows being done to death with the same story over and over. I was absolutely blown away with Invincible and I have nothing negative to say about the show. I really enjoyed watching Invincible the entire time and it never dragged. I was left wanting more after the conclusion of the final episode. With season 1 just ending, and the show being renewed for 2 more, it’d be wise to start now. This show blew me away within an 8 episode season. Invincible is well worth the watch.
