“I’ve always wanted to be able to perform with them again. They are the nicest guys…..and they have a way to make the kids feel like they are the stars of the show. Sunday right at noon, Amy Taylor called and asked if I thought we could put it together for THAT night. My initial thought was that it would be impossible. But I knew how amazing it would be for the kids to get to be on an ACL stage. I called both Patenaude and Fuhrman to see if they thought we could pull it off. Both, of course, were sure that we could. I called Amy Taylor back to tell her we were going to run with it. She gave me the phone number of the contact. When I called, it was Marcus Mumford on the phone! We talked logistics and had it all organized.
