Dark Souls 3 Review

Dark+Souls+3+Review

Dark Souls 3 is the newest game in the Dark Souls series, and came out on March 24th 2016. The game was brought out by the Japanese Companies FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment. The Highly reliable companies produced another grand slam of a game this year.

The game however, is not for everyone. The game will prove difficult and intimidating from the very beginning. The slogan of the Souls series has always been “Prepare to Die” and it shows in their almost infuriatingly strong enemies. Many new to the Souls players may be discouraged, but you can overcome and predict the enemies with enough practice.

The overall appeal to most players is the challenge it poses to all gamers. If you can beat a Dark Souls game, you’ve done something that was so difficult, millions of others gave up on. The game consists of over 10 different locations, each with their own special enemies and hazards. They all have to be found manually, and going through the game without exploring the map in its entirety will lead a player to many dead ends they can’t seem to find a way out of.

The game is absolutely stunning and varies their environments well throughout the game. The graphics of this game stumps both the first and second Dark Souls by far. The tone of the Dark Souls 3 seems to be to a little bit lighter than the other Dark Souls games. In 1 and 2 you’re going through dank dark arenas chocked to the brim with enemies, but Dark Souls 3 has you going through beautiful ice castles or giant poison swamps.

Overall, the game may not be for those who may get angry quick or anyone new to the series. Those who can endure, get to experience the rest of the expertly crafted game to its completion.
