Students Travel to Australia and New Zealand

Next summer students will have the opportunity to travel to Australia and New Zealand through a trip led by freshman geography teacher, Jordan Attra. This trip presents students with a very unique travel experience.

“I’m really excited to offer this up to people because it’s such a cool part of the world that we don’t really get to see that often,” Attra said. “Not a lot of people just jet off to Australia or New Zealand, so I’d like to provide the opportunity because they have such a unique culture, New Zealand especially.”

The twelve day trip features three days in New Zealand and a subsequent six days in Australia. “I’m really looking forward to seeing Sydney,” Attra said. “I’ve heard it’s one of the coolest cities ever and New Zealand is supposed to be absolutely amazing too, so I’m really excited.”

The trip is in association with EF Tours, a company Attra has had experience with before. “I really liked EF Tours whenever we went to the United Kingdom. It was really well organized and we had an awesome tour director,” Attra said. “The trip was so smooth and everything was just done for us, so I thought, of course I’ll use EF again.”

Attra wishes to continue offering students with unique travel experiences. “I plan on taking a trip with students every year for the foreseeable future,” Attra said. “I’m thinking about somewhere in South America for next year.”

The opportunity to sign up remains available.
